Sandge being prepared during summer is summer special recipe. These are small dumplings made from different dal. You can make sabzi or amti from it. These are life saver if no vegetable is available in your pantry and you have to make something really quick. Here we go to Sandge.

Recipe :
Ingredients :

1 tsp Oil,1 cup Sandge,1/2 tsp Cumin seeds,1/4 tsp Hing,7~8 Curry leaves,1 cup chopped Onion,1 tbsp Kanda lasun,masala,1 cup Hot water,Salt to taste,Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method :

  • Heat up oil in a pan and add sandge.
  • Shallow fry sandge until they get nice red or brownish color.
  • Take out sandge into a bowl.
  • Heat up oil in the same pan.
  • Add hing, curry leaves and onion.
  • Mix well and fry onion until it gets nice golden colour.
  • Add kanda lasun masala and fry again for a minute.
  • Add sandge and coat them with masala.
  • Add hot water and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes until they become soft.
